Diabetes Education

An important aspect of life for any person with diabetes is diabetes education. Our Sunshine-based clinic provides expert information and advice for our patients with diabetes.

Issues Linked to Diabetes

There are many issues linked to diabetes that may affect your quality of life, including the never-ending demands of diabetes care, eating carefully, exercising, monitoring blood glucose, scheduling and planning medication intake, monitoring symptoms of low or very high blood glucose, worrying about complications or your health in general. We continuously strive to inform and educate our Sunshine Clinic diabetes patients, thanks to which they are better positioned to control and manage their condition.

Types of Diabetes

The most common types of diabetes are Type 1 and Type 2. Diabetes can be either controlled through diet and exercise or will require medication such as Insulin. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms which may relate to diabetes, please discuss with your doctor as soon as possible.

  • Weakness and fatigue
  • Tingling or numbness in your hands, legs or feet
  • Frequent trips to the bathroom
  • Unquenchable thirst
  • Losing weight without trying
